Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Young’s is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Owen as Chief Financial Officer.

Mike is an experienced CFO with over 10 years’ experience in the drinks and pub sector. He joins from Hall & Woodhouse, a family owned pub group and brewer, where he has been the group finance and IT director since 2016. Before that he spent eight years at SABMiller, initially as the finance director at Miller Brands and then as the Head of European and then Global Deployment in the Global Business Services division.

Mike will take up the CFO role and join the Board of Young’s on the 9th September. Daniel Quint will continue as Interim Chief Financial Officer until at least the Company’s AGM in July.

Mike is the beneficial holder of 307 A shares of 12.5p each in the capital of Young’s.

Mike is currently a director of Hall & Woodhouse Developments Ltd, H&WPropHoldCo Ltd, Woodhouse Wines Ltd, Badger Inns Ltd, 470 Ringwood Road Management Company Ltd, Badger Ales Ltd, Rio Drinks Ltd, Woodhouse Inns Ltd, Blandford Beer Company Ltd, Netall Ltd, King & Barnes Ltd and Hall & Woodhouse Ltd.

There are no other matters which require disclosure in accordance with rule 17 of, and paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to, the AIM Rules.
