Board change
The Board of Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. announces that Christopher Sandland,
aged 56, the Personnel Director, will be retiring from the company on 13 April
2006. It is planned that he will return as a non-executive director in July.
John Young, Chairman, said today:
"Christopher has worked for Young's for over 32 years in a variety of roles, as
Company Secretary from 1987 to 2005 and as Personnel Director from 1990 to date.
He will be retiring as a full-time director in April and leaving us for a
well-earned break. We have invited him to return as a non-executive director
later in the year so that we may continue to benefit from his broad knowledge
and experience."
