                Notification pursuant to rule 17 of the AIM Rules

On 16 March 2007, Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. (the "Company") received the
following notification from James Young pursuant to section 324 of the Companies
Act 1985:

"In fulfilment of the obligation imposed by section 324 of the Companies Act
1985, I hereby give you notice that when the grant of probate relating to the
estate of John Allen Young, Deceased was granted on 8 February 2007, I became
interested in the following as I am one of the executors of the estate:

(a) 237,869 A ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company's capital; and

(b) 12,586 non-voting ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company's capital".
