                               Total voting rights

Young's advises that its issued share capital consists of 7,266,000 'A' ordinary
shares of 50p each with voting rights and 4,790,000 non-voting ordinary shares
of 50p each with no voting rights. Young's holds no shares in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Young's is 7,266,000.

The above figure of 7,266,000 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they are to determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Young's under the Financial
Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
