                                  Board Update

The board of Young's today announces that Roy Summers O.B.E, a non-executive
director of the Company and chairman of its audit and remuneration committees,
who was due to retire from the board on 20 July 2007, has agreed to extend his
tenure on the board for a further period. He now plans to retire from the board
at the close of the Company's AGM meeting in 2008.

The board is also pleased to announce that Torquil Sligo-Young, currently
Information Services Director, is to become Human and Information Resources
Director, taking additional responsibility for Human Resources and Health &
Safety.
