Investment Management Arrangements

The Board of Gartmore Asia Pacific Trust PLC has been informed by its Manager,
Gartmore Investment Limited, that Philip Ehrmann, who jointly manages the
Company's portfolio with Chris Burling, will be leaving Gartmore in July. The
Board will review carefully with Gartmore their proposed future arrangements
for the management of the Company and, if appropriate, will make a further
announcement in due course.
