Investment Management Arrangements
The Board of Gartmore Asia Pacific Trust PLC has reviewed carefully with
Gartmore their proposed future arrangements for the management of the Company's
portfolio and confirm that the appointment of Gartmore as Manager will
continue, subject to the Board's normal ongoing assessment of service
providers. The lead fund managers responsible for the Company's portfolio are
now Chris Palmer and Chris Burling.
Chris Burling continues to be responsible for Japanese investment with Chris
Palmer now responsible for investment in the rest of the Asia Pacific region.
The investment policy is unchanged and they will continue to manage a
concentrated portfolio of companies.
Chris Palmer is Head of Emerging Markets at Gartmore and manages a range of
Gartmore's investment funds including Gartmore Emerging Markets Opportunities
fund, Gartmore SICAV Emerging Markets fund and Alphagen Pictor, an emerging
markets hedge fund.
