('Buckland' or the 'Company')
Trading Update
Buckland Group plc, the manufacturer of spark generators, announces that its
subsidiary, DK Gas Components Ltd, will complete the second phase ('phase two')
in the transfer of production from the UK to Buckland's Thailand facility
within the next eight weeks.
Phase two will result in a net saving in the group's payroll cost of
approximately £300,000 per annum, adding to the previous net cost savings from
phase one, announced in November 2005, of approximately £150,000 per annum. The
related redundancy cost of phase two is approximately £25,000.
In September 2005 the Company announced its half year results to 30 June 2005,
recording a profit from continuing operations and acquisitions of £23,344 on
sales of £1,671,785.
The Group will announce its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December
2005 in the month of April 2006.
