Quester VCT plc
Payment of a special interim dividend
The directors are pleased to announce the declaration of a special interim
dividend of 1.25p per share.
At the time of the merger, the Listing Particulars noted that the enlarged VCT
intended to declare an interim dividend of 1.0p per share in September 2005 as
a special dividend to be paid out of surplus liquid assets following the
merger. There has been an increase in the pace of realisations over the summer
(so far at prices a little above valuations used for the merger). The Board has
therefore decided to increase the level of this dividend from 1.0p to 1.25p per
share. In addition it is formulating a dividend policy to take account of
expected realisations and the new investment programme. This policy will be
outlined at the time of the Interim Results later this year.
The relevant dates are as follows:
Record date 14 October 2005
Payment date 11 November 2005
30 September 2005
