DIRECTORATE CHANGE
Alliance Trust PLC announces that William Jack will retire as a non-executive
director at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of the Company on 24
May 2007, having served as a director since 2000.
Alliance Trust's Chairman, Lesley Knox, said: "We are grateful to William for
his service during his time in office and I appreciate his counsel and
knowledge of the wider financial services industry."
Mr Jack was the Senior Independent Director of Alliance Trust. He will be
replaced in this role by Christopher Masters, who has been a non-executive
director since 2002 and currently chairs its Remuneration Committee.
