Notifiable Interests

As a result of the recent issue of 25,139,127 new Microgen shares, the Company
was notified on 11 November 2003 that the shareholding of Eaglet Investment
Trust plc is now below 3%. They therefore no longer have a notifiable interest
in Microgen shares under Sections 198-202 of the Companies Act 1985.
