Ashtead Group plc ("the Company"): Director's/PDMR shareholding
Geoff Drabble has today sold 182,683 ordinary shares of 10 p each (0.03% of the
issued ordinary share capital) at a price of 142.75 pence per share.
The share sale has been undertaken to fund the income tax and national
insurance that became payable on the transfer to Geoff Drabble of 378,000
ordinary shares from the Employee Share Option Trust on his commencing
employment with the Company on 2 October 2006.
Following the sale, Geoff Drabble continues to beneficially hold 211,357
ordinary shares (0.03% of the issued ordinary share capital). Additionally,
Geoff Drabble conditionally holds 264,943 ordinary shares (0.04% of the issued
ordinary share capital) under the Company's Performance Share Plan.
