Defence Medical Services Extends Contract With ...

LONDON, April 14 /PRNewswire/ --     Manpower Software plc, a leading provider 
of workforce optimisation
solutions, is pleased to announce that the Defence Medical Services (DMS),
which consists of over 8,251 regular uniformed medical personnel, will extend
their use of Manpower Software's MAPS Defence Suite to more effectively
deploy resources based on cost, availability and competencies.



    Lt Commander RN, Tim Jones commented: "We have agreed a long-term
contract in order to continue the progress we have already made in more
effectively deploying resources based on cost, availability and competencies.
In addition, we will now have the ability to exploit the significant

    This new licence contract will allow DMS to exploit key data sourced from
the new Joint Personnel Administration System and will enable them to take
full advantage of the Force Generation capabilities available in the new

today's expeditionary operations, enabling improved long term planning,
increased efficiencies on national assets and provide a holistic view in
order to meet requirements with the most suitable and available capability.
