Trading Update
Avingtrans, a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of MRI scanner components and
aerospace components, services and actuators, is pleased to announce that its
new 30,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility in Chengdu, China is now operational
and has produced, and invoiced for, its first components.
The Company is also pleased to report that B&D Patterns Ltd, the manufacturer
and supplier of critical jet engine components to the aerospace industry
acquired in September 2006, has recorded improved sales on the corresponding
period last year and that the process of integration within the Group's
aerospace division is well underway.
Order intake for the Group in the first six months of the year was up on the
corresponding six months of last year with current trading in line with
management expectations.
Avingtrans will report interim results for the six months ended 30 November
2006 on Wednesday 21 February 2007.
