The European Investment Trust plc (the “Company”)

In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 15.5.1(4)R, the Company today announces that all inside information which the Directors and the Company had in the period leading up to an announcement of results has previously been notified to a RIS, and accordingly, the Company need not comply with the close period provisions of the Model Code in relation to the Company's ordinary shares during the period prior to the announcement of its annual report and financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2015.
