Pursuant to the Financial Conduct Authority's (`FCA') Disclosure and
Transparency Rule 5.6.1 the Company announces that the total number of ordinary
shares of 1p each in issue as at 30 September 2014 stood at 799,366,108 and the
total number of voting rights in the Company was 799,366,108.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
