Correction : Transaction in Own Shares

There is a correction to the Transaction in own shares announcement which was made on 23 October, the number of shares repurchased should have read 21,000 and not 10,000 and the price paid was £5.2355 and not £5.24. Therefore following the transaction, the Company’s ordinary share capital was 17,472,652 and not 17,483,652 (excluding treasury shares) and 20,790,859 and not 20,801,859 (including treasury shares) ordinary shares of 10p each. The total number of treasury shares held by the Company remained at 3,318,207.

Transaction in Own Shares

Baring Emerging Europe PLC announces that today it purchased 21,000 of its own ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of £5.2355 per ordinary share. These shares will be cancelled.

Following the transaction, the Company’s issued ordinary share capital is 17,472,652 (excluding treasury shares) and 20,790,859 (including treasury shares) ordinary shares of 10p each. The total number of treasury shares held by the Company is 3,318,207.
