SUBJECT: Transaction in Own Shares
The Board of Baronsmead VCT 2 plc announces that on 21 December 2009 the
Company purchased 500,000 shares ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 77.5
pence per share. These shares are to be held in Treasury.
Following the share buyback, the Company's issued ordinary share capital
consists of 74,730,194 shares of which 6,493,906 are held in Treasury.
Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in Baronsmead VCT 2 plc
is 68,236,288.
The above figure of 68,236,288 may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Baronsmead VCT 2
plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
