Board Changes

Base Resources Limited (ASX:BSE) wishes to advise that Mr Mike Stirzaker has
been appointed to, and Mr Trevor Schultz has retired from, the role of
Non-Executive Director of the Company effective immediately.

Mr Schultz's retirement comes as part of the ongoing evolution of the
composition of the Board as we move into the next phase of the development of
Base Resources. Trevor has been a director of Base since 2011 and has made an
invaluable contribution to the Company throughout the construction phase of its
Kwale project. The Company wishes Mr Schultz every success in his future
endeavours.

Previously the alternate director to Mr Schultz and already having made a
significant contribution, Mr Mike Stirzaker has now joined the Board with his
skills well matched to the next phase of the Company's development.
