                       NOTICE OF CHANGE OF INTERESTS OF    
                            SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER                            

Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) ("Base" or the "Company") wishes to
advise that it has received notification from substantial shareholder, Taurus
SM Holdings Pty Limited, advising that it currently holds an interest in
83,444,288 ordinary shares in Base representing 14.85% of the Company's issued
share capital, following the on market net acquisition of 26,593,073 ordinary
shares during the period 15 June 2012 to 1 April 2015 at prices of between
$0.12 and $0.40 per ordinary share, since its last notification on 4 June 2012.
