Notice of Redemption and Cancellation of Bellway p.l.c. 9.5% Cumulative
Redeemable Preference Shares 2014 ("Preference Shares")

The Company gives notice that all 20,000,000 Preference Shares were redeemed in
accordance with the Articles of Association of the Company at par on 7 April
2014.

The Company has applied to the Financial Conduct Authority, in its capacity as
the United Kingdom Listing Authority, to cancel the listing of the Preference
Shares on the Official List of the United Kingdom Listing Authority, with
effect from 2 May 2014.
