Result of EGM
The Berkeley Group Holdings plc is pleased to announce that at its EGM held
earlier today the resolution proposing the investment of up to £175 million in
three new joint venture companies by The Berkeley Group plc on the terms and
conditions in the joint venture shareholder agreements dated 1st April 2007
between The Berkeley Group plc and Saad Investments Company Limited, as set out
in the circular to the Company's shareholders dated 5th April 2007 and with
such non-material amendments thereto as the directors of the Company (or any
duly constituted committee thereof) may consider appropriate, was passed on a
show of hands.
A breakdown of proxy votes lodged prior to the EGM is set out below.
