The Berkeley Group Holdings plc is pleased to announce that at its EGM held
earlier today the resolution proposing the acquisition of the 50 per cent
interest in St James Group Limited not already owned by the Berkeley Group was
passed on a show of hands.

A breakdown of proxy votes lodged prior to the EGM is set out below.
