The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for The Biotech Growth
Trust PLC at the close of business on 7 March 2014 was 555.12p (ex & cum
income).

Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the re-issue of all of the
310,000 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market price on 7
March 2014, was 554.94p (ex & cum income).
