The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for The Biotech Growth
Trust PLC at the close of business on 10 March 2014 was 562.72p (ex & cum
income).

Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the re-issue of all of the
310,000 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market price on
10 March 2014, was 562.49p (ex & cum income).
