guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for The Biotech Growth
Trust PLC at the close of business on 2 April 2014 was 509.41p (ex & cum
income).

Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the re-issue of all of the
662,309 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market price on 2
April 2014, was 509.20p (ex & cum income).
