The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for The Biotech Growth
Trust PLC at the close of business on 18 March 2014 was 564.28p (ex & cum
income).

Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the re-issue of all of the
662,309 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market price on
18 March 2014, was 563.87p (ex & cum income).
