                           TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES                           

The Directors of Bioventix plc announce that the Company has purchased 24,615
ordinary shares at a price of £1.95p for cancellation. This represents 0.49% of
the ordinary shares in issue.

Following the transaction the Company now has 5,025,385 ordinary shares in
issue and the Directors' shareholding now totals 20.89%.
