BISICHI MINING ACHIEVES MAJOR PRICE INCREASES
FOR ITS SOUTH AFRICAN COAL PRODUCTS
Bisichi Mining PLC, whose principal direct coal mining investment is Black
Wattle Colliery, located in Middelburg, South Africa, is pleased to announce
that it has achieved major price increases for its coal products at the Black
Wattle Colliery, as follows:
* Steam Coal: 64% increase in price from Q2 2008 to Q1 2009
* Metallurgical Coal: 42% increase in price from Q1 2008 to Q3 2008

"With domestic and international coal markets at an historic high we have moved
swiftly to lock in significant price increases. Our success in this regard has
given Bisichi a very strong start to 2008, on which we plan to build."
