Bisichi JV and Ingwe Collieries finalise Coal Supply Agreement for Pegasus Coal
Reserve
Bisichi Mining PLC, the LSE listed mining investment company, announces that on
31 May 2005, Ezimbokodweni Mining (Pty) Limited ('Ezimbokodweni'), its South
African joint venture company with Endulwini Resources (Pty) Limited, finalised
the terms of a coal supply agreement with Ingwe Collieries Limited, a
wholly-owned subsidiary of BHP Billiton.
The finalisation of the Coal Supply Agreement fulfills the key commercial
condition for the purchase of the Pegasus Coal Reserve ('Pegasus'), an
approximately 12 million tonne reserve located in the Witbank coalfield of
Mpumalanga, South Africa. Ezimbokodweni expects to commence mining at Pegasus
in mid-2007.
