BlackRock North American Income Trust plc
Appointment of Director:
The Board of BlackRock North American Income Trust plc is pleased to confirm
the appointment of Ms Alice Ryder as an independent non-executive director of
the Company with effect from 12 June 2013.
Ms Ryder has over 25 years of investment experience. She is a senior director
at Stanhope Jewson and is responsible for client relationships with substantial
charity clients. She has spent 17 years as an investment manager, initially at
Henderson Administration and then at Framlington Investment Management where
she was a director. During this period she managed portfolios for leading
institutional clients, including substantial pension funds and a large
ethically constrained charity.
Ms Ryder was previously a director of Jewson Associates Limited. She has no
interest in the share capital of the Company.
There are no further details or disclosures required under Section 9.6.13R
(1-6) of the Financial Conduct Authority Listing Rules.
