BlackRock Commodities Income Investment Trust plc - Change in directorate

BlackRock Commodities Income Investment Trust plc (the "Company") confirms that
Mr Alan Hodson has today retired as the Chairman and as a Non-Executive
Director of the Company. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank
Mr Hodson for the valuable contribution that he has made since his appointment
at the time of the Company's launch in 2005.
Mr Ed Warner has succeeded Mr Hodson as Chairman of the Company. Mr Warner
joined the Board in 2013 and is Chairman of Panmure Gordon & Co Plc, UK
Athletics, LMAX and the Standard Life European Private Equity Trust. Ed is also
a Non-Executive Director of Clarkson PLC, Grant Thornton UK LLP, SafeCharge
International Group Limited and DCI (Ireland) Funds.
