Publication of Supplementary Prospectus

BlackRock Commodities Income Investment Trust plc (the "Company") has today published a supplementary prospectus (the “Supplementary Prospectus”) which is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, the Prospectus published on 19 June 2015 (the "Prospectus") in connection with a placing programme of up to 50 million ordinary shares of one penny each in the capital of the Company.

The Supplementary Prospectus is required following the publication by the Company of its audited financial statements for the financial year ended 30 November 2015. These financial statements constitute a significant new factor relating to information contained in the Prospectus.

A copy of the Supplementary Prospectus has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.

The Supplementary Prospectus will also be available shortly on the Company’s website, https://www.blackrock.com/brci.
