Conversion of Subscription Shares
Following the exercise of Subscription Share Rights by 535 holders of
Subscription Shares, the Board of BlackRock Greater Europe Investment Trust plc
announces that it has issued, subject to listing, 1,239,937 Ordinary Shares.
The Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.
The Company has applied for these shares to be listed on the Official List and
commencement of dealings in the Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange to
take place at 8.00 a.m. on 9 May 2014.
Following this conversion of Subscription Share Rights and listing, there will
be 114,245,443 Ordinary Shares (including 5,429,676 Ordinary Shares held in
treasury) and 20,660,139 Subscription Shares in issue.
