Announcement of a change in fund manager
The Board of BlackRock Income and Growth Investment Trust plc ("the Company")
announces the appointment with immediate effect of Mark Wharrier as co-manager
of the fund with Adam Avigdori.
Mr Wharrier joined BlackRock's UK Equity team in the Fundamental Equity
division of BlackRock's Alpha Strategies Group as a Director and portfolio
manager earlier in September, and has over 19 years' investment experience. He
joined from NewSmith Asset Management, where he was a portfolio manager in the
UK Equity team
