NOTICE OF OUTCOME OF MEETING
BLACKROCK LATIN AMERICAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
to the holders of the outstanding US$80,000,000 3.5 per cent. unsecured
convertible bonds due 2015
We hereby give you notice that at the Meeting of the holders of the outstanding
US$80,000,000 3.5 per cent. unsecured convertible bonds due 2015 of the Company
held at 11.45 a.m. (London time) on Tuesday, 11 May 2010 at the offices of the
Company, 33 King William Street, London EC4R 9AS, the Extraordinary Resolution
proposed at the Meeting was passed.
Under listing rule LR9.6.1R a copy of the resolution has been submitted to the
UK Listing Authority, and will shortly be made available via the UK Listing
Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
