BlackRock Smaller Companies Trust plc (the "Company") announces under Listing Rule 9.6.14 that Ms Caroline Burton, who is a non-executive Director of BlackRock Smaller Companies Trust plc has resigned from the Board of TR Property Investment Trust plc with effect from 26 July 2016.
