ANNOUNCEMENT OF QUARTERLY INTERIM DIVIDEND
3 October 2013
The Board of BlackRock North American Income Trust plc is pleased to announce
that the fourth quarterly interim dividend in respect of the year to
31 October 2013 of 1.0p per ordinary share has been declared by the Directors,
payable on 4 December 2013 to holders of ordinary shares on the register at
the close of business on 11 October 2013 (ex dividend date is 9 October 2013).
This quarterly dividend is being declared and paid early as a consequence of
the proposed issue of C Shares and the restrictions on the declaration and/or
payment of dividends at certain times when C Shares are in issue which are
contained within the Company's articles of association.
