Statement re Corporate Broker


Following the announcement that UBS would be withdrawing from the UK and
European Listed Investment Funds business the Board of The Throgmorton Trust
PLC made temporary arrangements in respect of the provision of broking
services.

A number of the personnel previously employed by the Company's former broker
UBS have now joined the investment team at Oriel Securities Limited and the
Board of The Throgmorton Trust PLC is therefore pleased to announce that with
immediate effect Oriel Securities Limited will be appointed as the Company's
sole broker.
