BlackRock Throgmorton Trust plc – Listing Rule 15.5.1(4)

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1(4), the Directors of BlackRock Throgmorton Trust plc confirm that they are satisfied that all inside information, which the Directors and BlackRock Throgmorton Trust plc have leading up to the announcement of results for the 6 months ended 31 May 2016, has previously been notified to a RIS.

Accordingly, the Company need not comply with the close period provisions of the Model Code in relation to the Company's ordinary shares during the period up to the close of business on 2 July 2016. 

The mandatory closed period under the Market Abuse Regime MAR will commence on 3 July 2016 and this will last until the results in respect of the 6 months ended 31 May 2016 are published in mid July.
