Directorate change: Appointment and retirement of directors
The board of Throgmorton Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of
two new non-executive directors to the board of the Company, with immediate
effect.
Simon Beart, 48, is Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman of Revenue Assurance
Services plc, an AIM listed debt services supplier. He qualified as a Chartered
Accountant in 1984 and subsequently acted as a Financial Advisor for investment
banks in the UK and US until 1992. In 1992 he was the co-founder of the fully
listed packaging group, Britton Group plc, which was acquired by a US listed
corporation, ACX, in 1998. He has been Chief Executive of Revenue Assurance
Services since 2001 having joined the company in 1999.
The Rt Hon. the Lord Latymer, 51, began his career in London and New York with
Bankers Trust and Paine Webber. In 1986 he joined Coutts & Co where he became
head of international private banking and a member of the Group Executive
Committee. He joined Cazenove Capital Management in 2000 and is a Director and
a member of the Private Client Committee. He is a non-executive director of
Manek Investment Management.
There are no details in respect of Mr Beart or Lord Latymer requiring
disclosure under paragraphs 9.6.13 R (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
As advised in the preliminary announcement of the Company's final results for
the year ended 30 November 2006, Lord Stewartby has retired as a director of
the Company with effect from today's date.
