Changes in Directorate
BlackRock Throgmorton Trust plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Loudon Greenlees as an additional non-executive director of the
Company with effect from 26 March 2014. Mr Greenlees will also serve as a
member of the Company's Audit, Management Engagement and Nomination Committees.
Loudon is a an independent member of the Compliance, Risk and Audit Committee
of Nevsky Capital LLP. He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Chief
Operating Officer of Thames River Capital from 1999 until 2007 and then
Commercial Director until his retirement in May 2013. He was also Group Finance
Director and Chief Operating Officer of Rothschild Asset Management from May
1996 to September 1998 and prior to that he spent ten years from May 1986 to
May 1996 as Group Finance Director of Baring Asset Management. He qualified as
a Chartered Accountant in 1974.
Mr Greenlees has no interest in the ordinary shares of the Company at the
present time.
There are no further details or disclosures required under Section 9.6.13R
(1 - 6) of the Financial Services Authority Listing Rules.
Harry Westropp who has served as a Director of the Company since 2003 will
retire following the Annual General Meeting on 26 March 2014 and has been a
valuable contributor to board governance and strategy.
