The Board of BlackRock Throgmorton Trust plc has been advised by BlackRock
Investment Management (UK) Limited that Ralph Cox, the lead portfolio manager
for its Contracts for Difference (CFD) portfolio, has decided to take an
extended career break and has resigned from BlackRock.
The Board is pleased to announce that, with immediate effect, Dan Whitestone
has assumed full responsibility for managing the Company's CFD portfolio, which
represented approximately 32 % of the Company's net assets as at
28 February 2015.
Dan, a senior member of the UK Small/Mid Cap equity team, who has over eight
years' experience in the UK small cap sector, has worked alongside Ralph in
managing the Company's CFD portfolio since April 2014 and will be supported by
Richard Plackett, Roland Arnold and Lucy Marmion.
Mike Prentis remains manager of the Company's long only portfolio.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Ralph for his
contribution and to wish him well for the future.
