Payment of Tender Proceeds
Pursuant to the announcement made on 14 September 2009 the Board confirms that
the final Tender Price to be paid to Exiting Shareholders will be 126.55 pence
per Exit Share (including all accrued interest). The 0.03 pence increase per
Exit Share since 14 September 2009 reflects interest subsequently accrued on
the Tender Pool.
The proceeds from the tender offer are expected to be paid to Exiting
Shareholders on Wednesday, 23 September 2009.
Defined terms in this announcement have the same meaning as in the Circular to
Shareholders dated 27 July 2009.
