BlackRock World Mining Trust plc (the "Company") hereby gives notification in
accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14R that Mr Colin Buchan, a non-executive 
director of the Company, has stepped down from his position as a non-executive
director of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, The Royal Bank of Scotland
plc and National Westminster Bank plc with effect from 5 August 2011.
