Update on Avanco Royalty

Following the decision by the Board of the BlackRock World Mining Trust plc (‘the Company’) to enter into a US$12 million royalty agreement with Avanco Resources in August 2014, the Board is pleased to announce that the first payment of US$4 million due under the royalty has now been made. Avanco successfully completed an equity raising earlier in the year, which combined with the US$12 million BlackRock royalty, sees the Antas North copper & gold project fully financed into production. Construction activities continue at site with first production expected in Q1 2016.
