Director's share interests
David Landless, Finance Director, notified the company today that he has
exercised 21,390 share options granted in April 2001 at 203.37p. Mr Landless
has sold 18,173 shares at 275.64p on the same day sufficient only to cover the
costs (e.g. income tax) associated with exercising the options, which would
otherwise have expired on 24 April 2008.
Mr Landless' beneficial interests in Bodycote shares have therefore increased
by 3,217 to 106,478 shares, which will be registered as follows:

between 26 April 2002 and 26 April 2009 at 370.26p, and conditional awards over
159,689 shares pursuant to the rules of Bodycote Incentive Plan and conditional
awards over 3,380 shares pursuant to the rules of the Bodycote Share Match Plan
both as adopted in May 2006.
