Fidelity's interest now at 4.98%

Fidelity International Limited of Bermuda ('Fidelity') notified the company on
26 November 2003 that its material interest now totalled a holding of
12,777,900 shares of Bodycote International plc representing 4.98% of
Bodycote's issued share capital, and that such notification also comprised the
interest of Edward C. Johnson III as a principal shareholder of Fidelity.
