Grant of share options to executive directors

Bodycote International plc announces that on 15 September 2003 it granted the
following options to directors under the shareholder approved 2003 Executive
Share Option Scheme at an exercise price of 157.5p per share, namely:-

The options are exercisable in 3 years time if Bodycote International's growth
