HSBC's voting rights total 6.27%

HSBC Holdings Plc notified the company on 9 September that as of 8 September
2008 it held voting rights in respect of 20,172,805 shares in the capital of the
company which represents 6.27% of the total voting rights in Bodycote plc as at
that date (7.23% on 23 July 2008).
